I placed these lights in the front of my home for walkway lighting. Turned out to be the perfect application. I had cheap solar lights in my backyard garden area that put out little light and failed completely within 9 months. Now that the sun is out longer (writing this in July) the lights do indeed last until past 2:30 am (that is the longest I have stayed up). Bottom line is that these lights are expensive but worth it as they put our a practical level of light and are long lived. Good thing that they have a small label with a model number on the stand as I searched on line for these lights a while before finding this little label as I wanted to purchase more. Remember to write down Westinghouse NE1102-09W after you purchase for future reference.
